About this Speaker
Catherine Howarth has been Chief Executive of ShareAction since 2008. ShareAction coordinates civil society to promote responsible investment, with a focus on mobilising institutional investors to accelerate corporate action on climate change, workforce and food system risks. She is a member of HM Treasury’s asset management taskforce and chair of its stakeholder working group. She is a board member of the Scott Trust, owner of The Guardian media group, serving on the Scott Trust’s investment committee, and was recently recognised by BBC Woman’s Hour as one of 30 women making the greatest contribution to sustainability.
